The ICSI has decided to grant exemption to graduates and postgraduates from the recognized universities from appearing in CSEET and enabling them to take direct admission in CS executive program.
The meeting held on 19 June 2021 has decided to grant exemption to the following categories of students from appearing in CSEET enabling them to take direct admission in the CS executive program.
The categories are:-
- Graduates (having minimum 50% marks) in any discipline of any recognized university or any other institution in India or abroad are recognized as equivalent thereto by the council.
- Post Graduates in any discipline of any recognized university or any other institution in India or abroad recognized as equivalent thereto by the council.

“To get exemption from CSEET based on above qualification, such students shall be required to pay applicable fees” as ICSI said
The revised admission criteria for CSEET and CS executive program shall be effective from June 20, 2021.
