For those aspiring to embark on the journey of becoming a Company Secretary after completing their 10+2 education or its equivalent, there are three pivotal stages one must progress through in order to pursue the Company Secretaries Course:
- CSEET Programme: This initial phase sets the foundation for your journey.
- Executive Programme: Building upon the foundation, this stage delves deeper into the intricacies.
- Professional Programme: The pinnacle of the course, reserved for those who have successfully navigated the earlier stages.
On the other hand, if you are considering joining the course after obtaining your undergraduate degree, you will need to undergo two stages in the Company Secretaryship path:
- Executive Programme: This stage remains the same, irrespective of your prior educational background.
- Professional Programme: The ultimate destination for those who have already graduated.
It’s important to note that the Foundation Programme is accessible to students who have completed their 10+2 education or its equivalent, regardless of whether their background is in Arts, Science, or Commerce (excluding Fine Arts).
Similarly, the Executive Programme is open to graduates from all fields except Fine Arts.
However, the Professional Programme can only be pursued after successfully clearing the Executive Programme within the CS Course.
If you’re considering enrollment in the CS Course, keep in mind that admission is open throughout the year. Examinations are conducted biannually, in the months of June and December, providing flexibility to suit your schedule.
