Essential Qualification and Experience:
The candidate must be an Associate Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India, preferably holding a Law Degree.
A minimum of 17 years of experience (E-7) or 15 years of experience (E-6) in Company Secretarial Compliances is required. This experience should be in reputed Govt/Public/Private Companies with a minimum paid-up capital of 500 crores or more.
The candidate should have a comprehensive understanding of Institutional Finance, Company Law, and Corporate and Secretarial functions. Familiarity with the provisions and regulations of the Companies Act, RBI, DPE, and SEBI rules & regulations is essential.
The candidate should have experience in handling Board matters, including organizing Board Meetings, presenting Board memoranda/agendas, and independently managing these responsibilities. Strong administrative and liaisoning skills are required. The candidate should be capable of fulfilling all the responsibilities of a Company Secretary in a large Company, including statutory compliance under the Companies Act, RBI, DPE, SEBI, and other relevant Corporate Laws.
